A tricone is a special case of a pyramid where the base is a dicone. It is also a special case of a dipyramid where the base is a cone and a tripyramid where the base is a circle.

Its tera are three dicones and a curved teron between them. Its cells are three cones and three curved cells. Its faces are a circle, two curved-cone-surfaces and two triangles.
