The sine values are a set of constants used in some of the mathematical pages on this wiki. The following values exist:

  • S0 = sin 0° = 0
  • S1 = sin 15° = ¼(√6-√2)
  • S2 = sin 30° = ½
  • S3 = sin 45° = √22
  • S4 = sin 60° = √32
  • S5 = sin 75° = ¼(√6+√2)
  • S6 = sin 90° = 1

They are primarily used to shorten exact expressions where necessary. S0, S2 and S6 should not be used as they are rational and are only included for completeness.
