I visited the 4th Dimension

Ideas about how a world with more than three spatial dimensions would work - what laws of physics would be needed, how things would be built, how people would do things and so on.

I visited the 4th Dimension

How ironic!

Well, her username is Wendy, and if you go on her site she says her name, which starts with Wendy. And seeing as how I don't know very many males named Wendy, I can solidly assume she is female, even on the INTERNET.

That doesn't mean anything except that she has a high post count.

Um, I was just making a joke :) , she's a "tetraspace visitor", and this thread is about her visiting the "fourth (tetra) space dimension"...

Irockyou: I went to hit the "quote" key, and I hit delete instead... sorry! Luckily, Hugh quoted his post, so here is DarthBadAss' post. It goes between Hugh's two previous posts.

Sum1 Help?!

Postby KaT » Wed Jun 21, 2006 1:07 pm

ok, here's the thing, I'm considering the possibility, the very unlikely possibility mind you, that i experienced the presence of a 4-d object.... either that or i was just delusional

When i was very young(around 5 maybe) as i was on my trampoline a saw this large floating sphere (blue and green in colour). I didn't notice it drift from anywhere, just saw it out of the corner of my eye. It moved slowly following the fence line and continued into the distance and got to a point where all of a sudden it dissapeared. (i didn't actually see the exact point it dissapeared as i was trying to get someones attention to look at it)

This happened about twice in one year, and then once a couple of years later. I'm not kidding about what I saw, and i never had any other "experiences of strange visual things" besides the one thing. It sounds a bit like the description of what a hypersphere would look like passing through "realmspace".

Please feel free to tell me why this couldn't be the case or why it could...?

Did the ball start as a point, grow to some maximum size and then shrink to a point? If so, it may have been a hypersphere. If it stayed the same size for the whole time, it was either a spherinder, or just a floating blue/green ball.
