How would a Bionian turn around?...

Ideas about how a world with more than three spatial dimensions would work - what laws of physics would be needed, how things would be built, how people would do things and so on.

How would a Bionian turn around?...

...anybody? Maybe they would be born with eyes on both sides of them or are symetrical.

(entering realmspace  :D )

Yeh, here you say somethng, if the eye is ridgidely attached probably he could only move in the reverse direction topside-down.
Perrhaps though he can flip his eye to the other side, pe if his eye is capabe of rotating 180', or some other planar transformation, like squeezing an half filled balloon through some hole, theair from one side to the other, I could imagin a bionian eye could move to either side  iff he has but one eye and an inflexible body.

Bionians can't turn around at all. They'd have to have eyes on both sides, or have an eye that could go from one side to the other (like Aale suggested).

or the eye could be mounted to the top of their head so it could slide over from the front to the back

Well maybe they don't have eyes at all. maybe a Bionian just has feelers so they just go around bumping into things and seeing if they feel good or bad?

In the valley of the blind the one eyed man would be king!
(helas, he was seen as a freak to be cured of his sight!)

It doesn't matter what kind of perception is used primarily, in case a blind bionian is asymmetric, he still has to move his feelers around, so the arguments given are still the same.
