shadows in the dimensions

Ideas about how a world with more than three spatial dimensions would work - what laws of physics would be needed, how things would be built, how people would do things and so on.

i was just wondering- if a trionian has a 2d shadow, and a dionian has a 1d shadow, and a monian doesn't have a shadow, does that mean tetronian has a 3d shadow? :o_o:

if that's correct, does it mean that i'm merely a shadow of a tetronian being?

Huh, that's an interesting idea, but I doubt it.

Though, there's nothing stopping that being the case... :o

no because shadows are black and arent solid

unless the rules of light and colours are some how different... i could thinking that what i thought was something i thought when it could actually be a tetronian thinking what im thinking because im a shadow

I wonder what would have happened if you walked into the shadow of a tetronian. That would be scary to have a black thing come at you, or you walk into it, and everything just went black.

you might be able to see all their insides, if they are shaded... that could be one advantage to having less dimensions!

How, then would a 4D shadow be projected?
Our shadow is projected onto a 2D plane "floor," and same goes for 2D to 1D etc,
In that case would the 4D "floor" on which it it projected on be simply a 3D figure?
so it would be possible for the 4D shadow to be floating around?

no the shadow would be projected on a medium that a lower dimension being could understand

Does a tetronian only have a 3d shadow when the light source is 4d also?

Yes, 3D light cannot possibly interact with 4D objects...

so would that kinda be anything like say if one of us were to stand under a light of any type, stand on a floor that consisted of multiple layers of...glass..or anything clear that would could see the shadow reflected on all layers? kinda giving us a slight sight into a 3d shadow? or am i just saying something that sounds like i know what i'm talking about but i don't really know what i'm talking about?
