Klein "bottle" in 4D.

Ideas about how a world with more than three spatial dimensions would work - what laws of physics would be needed, how things would be built, how people would do things and so on.

Klein "bottle" in 4D.

In 3D one may have a pseudomodel of a Klein bottle that can hold liquid. In 4D a Klein bottle can't hold liquid. It would leak out of the third sideways dimension. Indeed no 2D shape can hold liquid in 4D, unless you are willing to cheat by using a fractal space-filling curve.

In general you need an N-1D object to contain liquid in an ND gravitational field.

Yes, it's already been known for a long time around here that the Klein "bottle" is a misnomer. It cannot hold any liquid in 4D.

Maybe tht's what Merle Haggard had in mind when he sang "the bottle let me down."
