VR as a learning tool for higher-dimensional thinking

Postby Phedhex » Sat Oct 22, 2016 8:04 pm

Hi all --

Just wanted to share a video I made a bit ago about how VR allowed me to gain a better understanding of the geometry of the tesseract, and, more generally, the 4th dimension. Ever since, I've been getting more into geometry and stumbled upon this page as a result of some random internet searches I've been doing. Anyhow, just wanted to share my insights and hopefully encourage some of you to try out this application if you have an HTC Vive.

Hey, I remember seeing this video when it came out. Pretty cool. Do you find that the VR aspect helps understanding better than just a computer screen and a mouse? I'm really interested in finding the best interface for understanding 4D.
