wire frame cutout in povray?

Can someone tell me whether one can subtract (in the sense of Constructive Solid Geometry) wireframe polyhedrons in povray?

If you mean you want to know the edges of a CSG object, then no, you can't do that. You'd have to construct it manually, or use a macro to perform CSG for you and find the edges.

Hm, I just looked into the documentation.
It seems not to be possible to have a wireframe renderer in povray.
You can CSG-construct objects, but can not show it as wireframe.
I think thats the reason why wireframe representations are always done by using solid pipes in povray.

Here is the detailed explanation in the Povray-FAQ.
