wireframe stereo 3D viewer/rotator for 4D objects - Hyper3

requires stereo red-blue 3d glasses. you can customize the code to match your color of glasses. LCD Shutter glasses are possible.

It uses just an extra axis, w. written as a Java application so you can make or generate your own objects.

HCUBE.4D and OCTAHEDR.4D are my favorite objects, but I would like to have some sort of sphereoid-type of object.

have a wireframe knotted basketball. doesn't contain a lot of points.

you can obtain it at
http://jmichae3.home.comcast.net/code/hyper3-java.html

now you can rotate and study in real-time. rotate about the 6 planes: xy, xz, xw, yz, yw, zw. position (distance) along the W axis provided provided for projection onto 3-space.
public class z{public z(){System.out.println("Hi");} public static void main(String[] args){z p=new z();}}

Yell me: What makes yours different from other Java-based wireframe 4D viewers which also use R/B or R/G anaglyph glasses....aside from the LCD alternate-frame type glasses support?

There IS such a thing as a stupid question, but it's not the question first asked. It's the question repeated when the answer has already been given. -d.m.f.

difference

I wasn't aware of any other Java-based viewers.
- Java had the advantage of easy graphics and works on pretty much any machine.
(including the way it's written)
- save images in many formats
- print images
- rotate, stop, examine, with rotation increment/decrement sliders.
- GPL (comes with source)

You should consider rendering surfaces instead of just wireframes.
