Discussion of theories involving time as a dimension, time travel, relativity, branes, and so on, usually applying to the "real" universe which we live in.

if someone invented a way to make things super-light (as light as a tachyon (about)) and invented a rocket that could shoot you at the speed of light (about) couldnt you do that?

what fuel would you use? your propulsion method would also have to be equally light... lets say that you do have a propulsion method, and maybe its not even part of what your accelerating, like a boat using wind. or whatever, well now you run into a probleme still... tachyons are very light yes, but they are also alone.. not a part of a bigger mass of tachyons... if you put several tachyons together would their mass be to great to reach light speed?

It is not known whether tachyons exist in anything else except theory.

well then we'll extend they're existance to this theory too.

Well Inertia and friction would kick in. As you may know Inertia is the law of a object wanting to stay at it's current speed (i.e. an object in motion wants to stay in motion.). You would need to manipulate friction to keep moving without slowing down, and then you would also need to manipulate your body to be able to change the terminal velocity without killing yourself.
