4d represented as instant "motion"?

Discussion of theories involving time as a dimension, time travel, relativity, branes, and so on, usually applying to the "real" universe which we live in.

4d represented as instant "motion"?

We are all familier with the first three... and i always accepted time 5 but never really thought about the 5 measurements.
Looking at the images i think i could describe these objects as either growing shrinking or moving with in an instant, a point in time.

the geometry of a 4 dimensional object in our 5 dimensional universe would be odd, like a smear would it not? 4 d can be described on a single piece of paper on a computer screen most accuratly by drawing an object in state 1 and in state 2 then filling in the entire progression of that object that would occur in one instant.

it could never physically exist to us because it would only have a 4 d shape for an instant of time which is as inperceptable and infinity insignifican as a point is.. referenced by us only with a marker... this thought wouldnt perclude a 5 d object from moving with only 4 measurements. thats something i would love to be able to do... one instant i'm home.. next i'm at work. but not even ask me what happens to the air i displace in my instant of movement... sounds like a big firey explosion.
