remember when they "broke" the speed of light with cesium vapor filled tubes? would this have anything to do with the way that a wave seems to travel faster when it is funneled thought a finite space, rather than being spread out (maybe im just screwy)

i'd love to get the beam into a mirrored chamber of cesium, make it travel an astronomical distance before exiting, make the time difference stretch into yesterday ( <.< puns are your friend)
