2d in 3d

I was just thinking, what would happen if a 2d being was standing in a 3d world and a 3d guy pushed him left???

no, he would just go left in our dimension. if he was pushed left in his dimension, he would get pwned.

Ok, it depends which way left is. I assume you're suggesting that he gets pushed out of his 2D universe. In that case the answer depends on the physics that allows you to have a 2D universe within a 3D one, that is entirely self contained even though you can interact with it. Basically any physics that allows this is purely made up, so you can let anything you like happen, as long as you're consistent.

Could he even be balancing in the 3rd dimension in the first place?

By P-Brane theory, no; gravity moves through different dimensional branes.
