Big Bang? or No Bang?

Postby papernuke » Sat Jul 22, 2006 6:54 am

If before the Universe there was nothing. Then where does all the energy for the Bang come from?

And for some people who beleive that the universe was smaller than an atom before the Big Bang, then how can something that small suddenly explode and become so big?

Perhaps you mean "just after the big bang". Because physicists don't usually like to talk about "before the big bang".

And what is wrong with something small exploding to become something big? Isn't that what explosions are all about?
