4D maze in 3D perspective??

Postby Secret » Wed Sep 29, 2010 10:35 am

This game has a maze which is very strange
When you start the game, you'll notice there's a block formation
Trying to walk around the formation indicates it is about 2x4 blocks in area
But as you entered the opening
You'll notice it is bigger in the inside
Any chance that this maze is something with dimensions greater than 3?

I got to 7/9 and then got stuck. I think some of the walls are only visible from certain angles, and also the map changes sometimes. I don't think it's 4D, just really weird.

Interesting!

I also got only to 7 bodies...

This is really only 2D, but it's non-Euclidean. I imagine it like this: it's like a grid of squares, where you can say that moving one square in some direction and one square in the opposite direction will return you to where you started, but doing a "rectangle" by moving p squares, turning left, moving q squares, turning left, moving another p squares, turning left, and then moving another q squares won't return you to where you started.

Wouldn't mind seeing how this was made!

Most of the time it does though. I think it's just that there's teleports that you don't notice and some of the walls are the same colour as the background, or they change colour.
