A crazy thought

Postby jbronson » Tue May 08, 2007 3:18 pm

Just a thought. Scientests have proved that the average human uses only approximatly 10% of his brain. Wouldnt it be astonishing if the other 90% of the brain worked to composed the world around you?!

when you say composed, do you mean create the world around you?? If so, i don't think so very much. Though it may help understand the world around you, I don't think it would create it.

Also, I'm pretty sure scientists say that your brain uses 7-8% at once, and Einstein used 9%
If I could read your mind, would you feel a disturbance in your thoughts?

didnt know that scientists measured Einstein's brain activity ...
C'mon guys, stay with the facts!
Only because some scientific celebrity said something, or even worse only because there is some rumor that a scientific celebrity said it, does not mean "scientists have proved".

I read this too in Popular Science Magazine. They're pretty reliable, so I trust them ;) .

Motto: Why does one use only 10% of one's brain? Because the rest are comments.

The other 90% of the cells in the brain are glial cells which are not nervous cells. They support, feed and care the neurons.

What IS true about Eisenstein's brain is that it was smaller than average, but the frontal lobe was much larger.(The part of the brain that is partly responsible for math and logic)
